Dr Felix Manyeruke
MBChB MMed (UZ)FCP(ECSA) Cert. Pulmonology (SA)
Consultant Pulmonologist
Born and trained in Zimbabwe, Dr. Felix Manyeruke graduated with an MBChB from the University of Zimbabwe in 2008 and later completed his MMed in Internal Medicine in 2015. He obtained a subspecialty certificate in Pulmonology in South Africa in 2021 following advanced training at Groote Schuur Hospital and the University of Cape Town.
He has extensive experience in managing complex respiratory and internal medicine cases, including HIV-associated lung diseases, interstitial lung disease, and critical care. He is actively involved in clinical research, with multiple publications in thoracic and critical care.
Dr. Manyeruke currently serves as Head of the Department of Medicine at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals. He is also involved in postgraduate training and research supervision, contributing to the development of internal medicine and pulmonology in Zimbabwe.
Dr Simon Blankley
MBBS PhD MRCP(UK) (Respiratory Medicine)
Consultant Pulmonologist
Born in the UK, he graduated from Imperial College, London, in 2003. He qualified as a Specalist in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology in 2015, having trained in various London hospitals.
He is actively involved in clinical research and obtained his PhD in Infection and Immunity from University College London in 2015.
Prior to moving to Zimbabwe, he has worked as a consultant in the UK NHS as well as regionally including in Uganda and Eswatini.
He is currently a lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe and works as a consultant on the medical High Dependency Unit at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.
